You get a trained two or three person crew with dollies, straps, ramps, and padding, priced hourly by crew size, and most single item jobs are done well inside a morning or afternoon.

Local access is usually the hard part, and it is the part we plan for. Eichler homes in Midtown and Greenmeadow have narrow hallways and glass walls that leave little margin for error. Older College Terrace and Professorville homes have tight staircases and small landings. Downtown condos near University Avenue often require elevator reservations and building move-in windows. We confirm the path, protect it, and then move the piece once, correctly.

How a Heavy Item Move Works

1. Quote: Send a photo of the item and a note about stairs, elevators, or long carries at each end.
2. Crew and equipment: We assign the right crew size and load the truck with dollies, straps, and floor protection for your specific job.
3. Prep: Doorways, floors, and rails are padded. Feet, doors, or drawers come off the piece if that makes the path safer.
4. The move: The item is wrapped, moved with proper technique, and secured for transport.
5. Placement: We set the piece exactly where you want it, reattach anything we removed, and leave the path clean.
