What a 1 or 2 Bedroom Move Looks Like With Us

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do apartment movers cost in Palo Alto?
Two movers are $160 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, so the smallest job is $480. In our recent records, local studio and 1 bedroom moves without storage came to between $702 and $1,644. Stairs, packing, storage and distance are what move the total.
Do you move studios and 1 bedroom apartments?
Yes. Studio, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom apartments are most of our apartment work. The 3-hour minimum applies to every job, including small ones.
Can you handle walk-ups and elevator buildings?
Yes. Tell us about stairs, elevators and the walk from the curb at both buildings when you ask for a quote. If your building makes you reserve the elevator or a move-in time, book it for the date we confirm and we will plan around it.
My building wants a certificate of insurance. Can you send one?
Yes. Send us the building management details and any wording they require, such as being listed as additionally insured. We carry $2,000,000 general liability per occurrence and workers compensation.
Can part of my apartment go into storage?
Yes. Two of the recent apartment moves on this page involved storage: a studio that went straight into a storage unit, and a 1 bedroom that stopped at storage on the way to San Francisco.
Do you pack, or do I need to pack myself?
Either works. You can pack everything yourself, have us pack only the last boxes and the kitchen, or have us pack the whole apartment. Packing materials are charged separately.
What areas do you serve for apartment moves?
Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Redwood City, San Carlos, Belmont, San Mateo, Foster City, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, San Jose and the rest of the Peninsula, South Bay and East Bay. We move within California only.
How do I get a quote for my apartment move?
Call (650) 629-2465 or fill out the online estimate form with your home size, both addresses and the date. Joshua quotes every move himself.
