Parking a moving truck in San Carlos
San Carlos treats reserved curb space as a parking restriction, which needs a Public Works encroachment permit.
- Apply through Public Works (pwpermits@cityofsancarlos.org, 650-802-4200).
- No-parking signs have to be posted at least 48 hours ahead, and Public Works inspects them.
- A storage container in the street needs its own encroachment permit. It must sit in front of the home it serves, stay out of the sidewalk and travel lane, and be at least 25 feet from an intersection.
