Joshua and his staff were terrific!!! My friends had lived in the house for almost 35 years and he was a book collector you can well imagine. We could not get everything packed up beforehand and Joshua told us give him a call a couple of days ahead of the move if we're not gonna be packed up and he'll send additional staff to help pack. Obviously we had to pay for that but the price was extremely fair and wow did we need help! The move took 14 hours! They were careful everything came through in intact! They were careful but quick it was a lot to move. I highly recommend Joshua and his people were considerate and honest and hard-working and he was a terrific at communicating. We texted and called back-and-forth and the two weeks ahead of time and he was wonderful at staying in touch and answering my questions. The total price was very fair and the service fantastic it was a lot of stuff that they didn't need and they left behind for a reasonable fee he hold it all the way so we were out of the old house all in one big step. I highly recommend Joshua's moving company.

I was referred to Joshua's Moving Company by another business professional. Joshua, owner came out to do a walk through at my residence to give me an estimate. I wanted my large furniture moved and my rental was 3 levels. The parking conditions for the moving truck was also going to be an issue for my neighbors access to get their cars out as needed. I appreciated that Joshua came out in person to see my items as other quotes I received, relied upon photos and/or verbal description. Joshua was agreeable to handle this initial move at a flat rate. Lupe was the foreman with 2 addl crew members. They wrapped my antique items carefully and managed to get my furniture loaded in 2.5 hours. With a nearly 3 hour drive time to my destination to unload, all of my furniture arrived well, unloaded with care, no damage and put together 2 Queen beds with headboards & footboards and a patio table & 4 chairs! I was so very happy and pleased with their hard work - total of 11 hour day! I called Joshua again for the 2nd phase of my move - many boxes in my rental but moreso, boxes that had been stored & junk removal. Joshua came out again to view everything on-site prior to providing a quote. This 2nd phase was on an hourly basis. I wasnt ready going through all of the storage boxes. The crew waited on 2 occasions for me to do prepping and also took their lunch while I went through items. The plan was to travel to the East Bay to get to my storage but we would have been delayed by heavy traffic. Instead, Joshua suggested finish to load the moving truck, but pay $250 for overnight storage and unload the next morning. This was the best cost savings solution to avoid overtime costs. The next day, Lupe and Julio waited for me at my storage unit. Julio unloaded the truck by himself that was packed by 4 crew member the day before and Lupe packed the items in my storage by himself!! Again, I was quite pleased and examined the truck afterwards to confirm all of my items were unloaded. I would have no problem recommending Joshua's Moving Company for their services as I was quite pleased and satisfied with the pricing!

For us, moving after living in the same condo for over 22 years was a daunting prospect. Joshua and his crew of expert movers made this about as easy as it could be. They showed up on time and spent a full day moving our things from our home and 3 separate storage rooms. They helped us pack and provided materials when we needed. They were friendly and unfailingly helpful. The next day they drove to our new home over 150 miles away and unloaded everything. They placed our furniture exactly where it needed to be. Boxes and other items that did not have a designated place in our home were carefully and neatly laid out in our garage. They even helped when we attached felt pads to the bottoms of some furniture. In short, they made our move as easy and pleasant as they could. I will use them again any time I need to move and I highly recommend them to anyone on the peninsula who wants a good moving experience.

We hired Joshua's Moving services to relocate our 2-bdrm apartment from Millbrae to San Mateo; we opted to use them for both packing and moving services. Getting a per-hour quote and scheduling with their team was super quick and easy; they were very responsive and their pricing is very competitive. They arrived on-time and worked efficiently + carefully to pack up the home and deconstruct the furniture. They were also more than willing to move around furniture at our new place if we found that we wanted it oriented differently. All-in-all, the experience took longer than originally quoted but that was because we had a LOT to pack and move. Again, the quote is based on the number of hours to complete the move, so I still fully believe that the service is fairly and competitively priced. I'm also very grateful to the team of movers Ludwig, Simon, Jose, and Lupe for staying so long and working so hard that day. It is very much appreciated because now we are in our new home with everything clearly labelled and nothing broken. I would recommend Joshua's Moving for any Bay Area move. If I ever need to move again, I know who I will be calling. Thank you!
